COVID-regulations

Crossing Ukraine’s border during pandemic

The COVID situation in Ukraine, and particularly in Kiev is under control, regularly monitored by the authorities.

To enter Ukraine, one has to show at the border documents typical of the EU, namely: printed or electronic certificate confirming full vaccination (with one of vaccines authorized by EU: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Nuvaxovid, or Janssen) and standard medical insurance ensuring eventual COVID treatment.

Shops, restaurants, coffees, public transport etc. are open in Kiev day and night for visitors with the above-mentioned certificate. Masks are not obligatory in open areas (e. g. streets).
