Dear Participant of the Odessa conference on New Trends in HEP!
1. The nearly final version of Conference program will appear on our web site https://indico.bitp.kiev.ua/event/1/program by Tuesday, May 7, still allowing for minor or urgent corrections, whereupon, on Friday, May 10 it will be printed. Participants will have 20+5 minutes for their talk.
2. Reservations in hotel “Arkadia” are made according to your requests. Breakfast may be included in your payment during check-in at the reception. Lunches and dinners are ordered separately. The restaurant in “Arkadia” needs information about the expected number of guests, for which reason we kindly ask you to fill in the attached Questionnaire. Please fill in also the Questionnaire related to your interest in particular social events during the Conference and return the completed Questionnaire at your earliest convenience, but not later than May 9.
3. Most participants are arriving at the international airport of Odessa. You will be met by members of the organizing committee to help you in hiring a “best price” taxi to “Arkadia”, about 100 UAH, equivalent to 4 USD (cheap!). For your information, there are reliable taxi companies like the familiar UBER or the local “BOND”, tel. NB: UAH, the official currency in Ukraine is recommended for payment, although EUR, USD or RUB are also circulating. There are no problems or limits in changing currency; our volunteers will help you to find quickly the closest exchange.
A conference bus will be provided to meet the biggest, joint group with participants arriving at 14.05 from Warsaw and at 14.40 from Minsk. From the railway station, hotel “Arkadia” can be reached by buses 198, 242, tram 5, trolleybus 5, 7 or taxi (~70 UAH, < 3 USD).
